This two level suite offers an oversized combined bedroom and sitting room with an adjoining large dressing room and bath on the upstairs level. Downstairs you will be served a delicious gourmet breakfast in the Garden Room, your exclusive private dining room.
The THOMAS JEWETT HOUSEis located on Sweet Pea Farm nestled at the foot of Mt. Anthony surrounded by the Green Mountains and the Taconic Mountains. It is the original farm house built by Thomas Jewett and at one time boasted a tavern frequented by Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys.
During your stay, stroll through the Sweet Pea gardens, visit the area of the birches for a picnic or just quiet contemplation, Walk along the crystal clear Jewett Brook that has been tumbling down Mt. Anthony for untold years, on its way to the Walloomsac River.
Visit Sweet Pea Antiques and Gift Shop, poke through the barn for more treasures, or look in the old potting shed that was once a farm worker's cabin from over a hundred years ago.
Nearby there are many places to visit and adventures to be had. To the south we are just eight miles from the Massachusetts border and fifteen minutes from the Clark Museum and Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Going north we are two minutes from downtown Bennington where you can enjoy dining and shopping at many of our wonderful local establishments. From downtown go west on Route 9 and in minutes you will find our world famous Bennington Museum. Around the corner is the Old Church where visitors are always welcome.
From Sweet Pea Farm traveling southwest along Monument Avenue you are a mere five minutes from our famous Bennington Monument. Visitors can ride to the top of the Monument obelisk and see the spectacular scenery for miles around. There is also a gift shop at the Monument.

We are a non-smoking establishment.
We are unable to accommodate children less than twelve years of age.
Our rates for one person or two person occupancy are $129.00 per day from June 1st through Labor Day. After Labor Day until October 31st, rates for one person or two person occupancy are $149.00 per day. During the month of November, rates for one person or two person occupancy are $129.00.

Please make reservations in advance. You may hold your reservation with a credit card. If it becomes necessary to cancel, we will accept cancellations one week prior to your visit at no charge to you. If we do not receive notification of cancellation one week prior, we must charge you for one night's lodging.
Check in is 11:00 AM and check out is 3:00 PM. If you require otherwise, please notify us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Breakfast is served between 7:30AM and 9:00AM. You choose the time that best suits you. Coffee (or tea) and juice will be available at 7:30AM if desired. If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform us when making your reservation.
We will provide an afternoon snack if desired.
